Doctors at War is published - My latest Book Cover Design project
I'm super-pleased to announce that my latest Book Cover Design project has been completed and my clients' book, Doctors at War, has been published.
You can buy the book from Amazon or local bookstores and the ISBN number is 9781838356903. Nigel Messenger, the author, has written 3 books previously to this latest release and lives in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
I created the 3D mockup image for Nigel, before the winter break, for prelaunch promotions and I have to say that it looks even better in print!
This was an extremely rewarded book design project and a challenging cover to create, using a montage of images to summarise the key references in the book. Aside from the cover design, I also formatted the book contents, ready for uploading to the Ingram Spark publishing platform.
I love experimenting with photomontage as it can create some truly outstanding effects and imagery. It’s also great at summarising a range of elements, such as story references, characters, locations, or desired atmospheres.
For me, this cover artwork is a perfect example of how great cover design can perfectly represent a book’s subject matter and create an attention-grabbing design.
