Poem published for Cheltenham Networking Event

IMG_5239.jpg

I was delighted to see this leaflet, when I attended a local networking event called Meet, Connect, Refer in Cheltenham Gloucestershire.

I was inspired to write a poem about the event and was amazed to learn that the organisers loved it and wanted to use it to promote their events.

I've been attending the networking group for almost a year and it's such an inspirational event. Each month members meet in an alcohol-free cafe to soft network but the great part of these meetings is that we do not talk about work, we get to know about each other's lives. We also watch a TED talk and have a set of activities to get us out of our comfort zones.

The whole concept behind these events are to challenge people to push themselves, to explore ways to become magnetic as individuals and build a network of people that put people before profit. The business behind the events want to create a shift-change in the mindset of business owners, managers and executives in organisations and charities so that they nurture people to grow as individuals.

Poetry is a powerful medium with the capacity to inspire people. So, if you are looking for a unique way to promote your business, product, service or event, I'd love to hear from you about commissioning me to write a poem.
